| Diana Pilling established Australian Internships after many years in education and training with Queensland Government. Diana started her teaching career in Hervey Bay with a new concept in education that recognised the value of both the academic and technical/vocational development of students. She eventually moved into the role of Director of Business Development where much of the training was developed to respond to industry demands. Diana was actively involved international education and this served as a catalyst for the establishment of her own business Australian Internships – the first company in Australia to welcome and support students from over 45 countries. Diana was a founding member of the Australian Internships Industry Association and is proud to hold the position of Chair of the Australian Internships Industry Association. Diana still enjoys meeting the many students and young professionals each year from countries all over the world. | ||

Dallas commenced her career as a law graduate but decided her true interest lay in education. She started work in the field of international education in 1987 and has worked in the University, Vocational and English language sectors. Dallas has also worked for the Queensland government on export development for a variety of industry areas including education. From the many years of working with international students, she strongly believes that the international experience must be both relevant and valuable for the student or young professional. More and more the experience has to relate to career development and there is no better experience than an international internship. Dallas is delighted to have made the move away from classroom based education and training and into the internship industry as the new General Manager for Australian Internships. Her role with Australian Internships centres on development of the business and its processes to ensure that Australian Internships maintain market leader status. |

Rebekah joined Australian Internships in 2003. Through out her time with Australian Internships Rebekah has moved through a variety of departments, her roles have evolved from Administration to Internship Program Supervisor to Marketing Executive. Rebekah has spent two years living abroad and if fluent in Portuguese. Her Portuguese skills allow her to take a lead role with the Brazilian Market. Rebekah has a strong passion for the industry and looks forward to a long career within the international education and internship field. |

Colombian born and educated Natalia joined Australian Internships in 2006. Before coming to Australia Natalia studied Mass Communication and Journalism and worked in Public Relations and Event Management within the International Education Sector. |

Megan joined Australian Internships in 2007 bringing strong skills from her previous role as a training and placement officer for a Government Organisation. Megan has studied a Bachelor of Psychology along with a Bachelor of Human Services. Megan has a strong hospitality background and is extremely dedicated to her role as Hospitality Program Manager. Her program development skills hail from previous employment as Program Developer for the YMCA Brisbane. Megan looks forward to the growth and expansion of the Hospitality Internship Program through working closely with the Department of Immigration and Citizenship along with many highly regarded Hotels and Resorts Australia wide for program development. |

Marion joined Australian Internships in 2007 bringing strong skills from her previous roles in Customer Service. Marion worked for Ansett Airlines for 23 years, spending 5 years in Sales and Promotions and then moved into a Customer Service Manager role for 18 years. Marion has also spent 4 years as a Personal Assistant to a senior retired partner at KPMG. She is an avid sports lover – played competitively in squash, softball, swimming and golf. German born, Marion is fluent in German and has travelled extensively over past 25 years. |

Russian born Irina joined Australian Internships in 2006 and was quickly appointed the role of Team Leader. Her educational background entails Organisation Management from a Russian University and Hotel Management from the Swiss Hotel Management School. Irina is extremely passionate about her role as Internship Program Supervisor. Irina is fluent in Russian, English and has intermediate French. Having lived in several countries for a large part of her life Irina has an in-depth understanding of different cultures and languages. |

Japanese born and educated, Izumi joined Australian Internships in 2006. Izumi has a strong background in Sales and Marketing. Previously she has spent many years living and working abroad with her family in Japan and Bali. Prior to moving to Australia in 2006 Izumi was working as Sales Manager for a Tourism Operations Firm in Bali. Izumi is fluent in English, Japanese and conversational Indonesian. Izumi has a strong understanding of many different cultures and is extremely conscientious about her role and the internship opportunities provided to her interns. |

Lucy is a first generation Australia, born to Italian parents who immigrated to Australia (Melbourne) in the late 1950’s. Lucy came to Brisbane in 2002 with her husband and family. Lucy joined Australian Internships in 2004 as an Internship Program Supervisor however moved into the Quality Systems and Compliance Manager role in 2007. Prior to Australian Internships Lucy had varied experience and lived abroad for three years in England and the United States. She has also operated her own direct selling business. Lucy is fluent in English and also speaks Italian. |
