Why did you decide to do your internship in Australia?
Based on the structure of internship program is built in well, and it is great reputation from previous interns which I saw in the intern testimonials on the website, and it brought my attention on deciding this program to further step.
What made this experience unique and special?
The main application I used during the internship is Office 365 which made by Microsoft in recent year, and it has dominated a certain percentage in market worldwide, and I am lucky to have chance play around this to improve my skills by utilizing this tool, I believed this will be significant part of my career in future.
How has this experience impacted your future?
The internship with my host was unique and you will never know what is your host will be. Luckily, my host treat me well and assigning every new chance on anything which can improve my experience in variety of applications. Also, they pass the administer permission to me on their online platform which used heavily to them, and normally company won’t pass a certain high level of permission to an intern (I reckon) because it could cause platform failure by a single click. Fortunately, I am not in the case, and going well now.
What was the highlight of your experience?
From the previous one and half month, I have learned a lot from how the business works in terms of IT consultant. Discuss the customer needs, and follow up several meetings to develop scoping for clients. it is rich experience in various aspects, such as business, IT technical, and expending network.
What advice you would offer someone considering interning abroad in Australia?
In my perspective of doing an internship in Australia, there is nothing you should be afraid of then nothing you cannot learn. Preparing you attitude in confident, positive, and can-do, you will enjoy the life of internship in Australia.

I am a Brisbane local having spent most of my life in and around Brisbane. I live about 1.5 hours from Brisbane in a small town where I love the space, peace and quiet. I have worked with accounts/finance and client service for over 10 years. My true passion in life is family being a proud mum of two, and grandmother of 2 (soon to be 4).
How would you describe your work?
I am responsible for all the accounts and bookkeeping at Australian Internships. I take care of invoicing, paying all the bills, taxation and all accounts related tasks. I also make sure that all our interns are enrolled in insurance before they start their internship.
What do you like the most about your work?
I love making relationships with people and getting things done! I am a perfectionist and love to get things done! I love the sense of accomplishment at the end of the day knowing that everything important has been actioned.
Your message to the interns?
Life is short! Make the most of every moment. Smile… dance in the rain… live… love… and learn what you can!
