1. Why did you choose to complete an Internship?

An internship is the best way to improve my skills and polish my knowledge. Proceeding for my internship in a country like Australia seemed to be exciting and I swear it is. It has been more than two months and I am enjoying it so well, and when it comes to learning, I prefer a happy learning environment. I’ve got the perfect place to communicate and learn along with my mates. Internship not only feeds you with knowledge and development but it also helps in nourishing your confidence. Today I am more than satisfied with my internship programme.

2. What have you learned the most during your internship?

During these months I have been supportively looking after our lobby bar as a bar attendant and bartender where I have been more involved  in making cocktails, service of alcohol, service of wine and food. It is a kind of outlet where I see myself as multi-tasking. I have been concerned about my conversations with my guests and I have seen an improvement in me. I am also responsible for opening and closing of the Dundee Arms (pub) sometimes.

3. What benefits do you feel Australia Internship contributed to your internship and time in Australia?

AI have been my backbone I must say. While I applied for the programme and since then I did not look back to anything that could bother me at all. From the very beginning of my program I have been receiving emails and calls in every time I needed their guidance. AI did every possible help they could offer me. And I'm so glad and thankful to everyone who helped me getting a better internship program here in Australia.

4. What advice would you give future interns?

All the very best and when you choose AI, you got nothing to worry. They are the perfect match to the interns looking for excellent internship programme. And you have got the best way to proceed and progress if you are under the guidance of AI.

5. What do you enjoy most about Australia?

Most? Everything here in Australia is amazing and beautiful. I love the people around me. They always seem to be happy and that makes you smile anyway. If you’re in Australia it is sure that your days will be happier and nights will be adventurous. That’s all I have to say. It is one of the most beautiful places I have seen.

How would you describe your work?

As a Graphic Designer, I create all sort of visual communication between AI and our Interns, Hosts and Partners. For instance, brochures, flyers, videos, banners etc. Currently, I’m developing a new Brand Identity for Australian Internships, it is very exciting!

What do you like the most about your work?

What I like the most in my work is using creativity to transmit messages and information to people. For me, Design means creating thoughtful, emotional connections between products and people. I get fascinated to work on this path. Combined to that I love the teamwork and partnership in the work environment.

Your message to the interns?

At the beginning of my career, I was also an intern and during my internship I could learn big part of what I believe and do nowadays. Yes, there will be hard times but do not be scared and try to learn as much as you can. Self-knowledge and self-assessment are very important for improvement, keep yourself always connected with your essence.
