Why did you decide to do your internship in Australia?
I have always been interested in doing international internships since I was still in Uni. I started in the United States of America and while having my training there I decided to apply for an internship here because I wanted to learn the Australian culture and work ethics. I knew that this internship would make my resume more appealing to most employers as well.

What made this experience unique and special?
Aside from learning the culture of Australia, getting to know more people as friends and making connections made this experience very special.

How has this experience impacted your future?
This experience broaden my knowledge about the hospitality industry here in Australia and helped improve my leadership skills. It also honed my ability as an hotelier and I can also use the connections I've made throughout this internship in the future!

What was the highlight of your experience?
The memories I've made with the people I met here in Australia and the opportunity to work and live in this country made this whole experience unforgettable and also being awarded as the heartfelt service winner is one of the highlights because it shows that your service is being acknowledged by the company.

What advice you would offer someone considering interning abroad in Australia?
Having experiences abroad is essential to widen your knowledge on your chosen career. Australia is a very good place to meet new people and to build up your profession. If you are planning to apply for an internship here in Australia go for it! Don’t make second thoughts. You will learn lots of things and this will help you as well to be more competitive in your chosen field.
